Foothills Forest School is seeking part time employees for our nature program for the 2026-2027 school year. We seek nature loving educators who are intentional and reflective in their work with children and who are eager to engage in play and wonder. The ideal candidate is dedicated and familiar with an outdoor play-based learning model and appreciates our four-season outdoor environment. Our Forest Teachers will work with a co-teacher to create and nurture an inclusive learning environment for our students and will spend the entire class session in the outdoors engaging in hiking, species identification, nature-based crafts, and other physically demanding adventures. Employment is 10 months, from August 2026 to May 2027.
We are seeking teachers for multiple age levels and days/week. Minimum of 2 days/week, potential for up to 4 days/week based on class needs and employer fit.
Staff Hours 8:30AM - 2:30PM
